"I’ve been working with Forged Endurance since September and the attention to detail and flexibility and planning around work and family time of my training plan has to be second to none. I joined as a complete beginner triathlete and look forward to continuing through 2026. Having a coach as motivated as you are to see you do well rather than being just a number makes a huge difference. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in giving Jesse a call and getting stuck in!"

"Jesse at Forged Endurance has really changed the whole way I look at cycling. SInce starting with him, I now mainly ride by feel and just use the power meter/heart rate monitors as a way to read back over my sessions. This has allowed me to push way harder than I ever thought I could and get way bigger numbers then I expected. I highly recommend his personal one on one style of coaching, his passion really comes out when you talk to him."

"I stumbled across Forged Endurance towards the end of 2025 and had a realisation, I’d been putting in the training hours each week, but without direction, they were largely wasted. Other one-on-one programs seemed a little expensive given the costs already involved in the sport of triathlon, and there appeared to be no middle ground for athletes who wanted that little bit extra without blowing the family budget. Since joining Forged Endurance, my fitness has already surpassed my peak from my previous full Ironman block — and I’m still in the base phase. I look forward to every training session, and Jesse is always available to answer questions, adapt sessions around family life, and keep me on track. The supportive team community is a genuine bonus. I wholeheartedly believe Jesse is in this sport for the right reasons, with his athletes at the forefront of everything he does. I can’t wait to see it all come together in October 2026 when I toe the line at my next full-distance Ironman. If you’re an athlete looking for more, I’d strongly encourage you to reach out and have a chat with Jesse and the team."

When I first reached out to Jesse, I was about 12kg heavier than my Ironman race weight with one goal in mind. “I need someone in my corner to get me over an Ironman finish line.” Looking back now, I can honestly say working with Jesse was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The obvious result is that I became an Ironman, but the biggest takeaway wasn’t the finish line. It was everything I learned along the way. Jesse didn’t just give me sessions to complete. He completely changed the way I approached training. Over the months, we spent a lot of time learning to separate effort from ego. There were sessions I nailed, sessions I failed, and sessions where I questioned whether I was improving at all. Every one of them became an opportunity to learn instead of something to beat myself up over. We constantly came back to controlling what I could control, focusing on the bigger picture, and understanding that consistency always beats chasing one perfect session. That mindset became invaluable on race weekend. The day before the Ironman I injured my foot, and mentally it was one of the toughest moments of the entire build. I knew my race wasn’t going to look like the one we’d planned. The numbers, the paces and the targets I’d spent months preparing for were suddenly unrealistic. In previous years, I think I would have let that derail my entire day. Instead, I found myself coming back to everything Jesse and I had worked on over the previous eight months. Rather than chasing numbers on a watch or trying to force a pace that wasn’t there, I focused on connecting with my body, managing my effort, staying present and asking one simple question: “What can I give right now?” That shift in mindset probably helped me more than any single training session ever could. It allowed me to adapt, stay calm and keep moving forward, even when the race became something completely different from what I’d imagined. Crossing that finish line wasn’t the result of one perfect training block. It was the result of months of learning how to trust the process, remove my ego from performance and control the things that were actually within my control. I genuinely don’t believe I would have become an Ironman without Jesse. If you’re looking for someone who simply writes programs, there are plenty of coaches out there but if you’re looking for someone who teaches you how to become a better athlete, think differently under pressure and gives you the confidence to perform when things don’t go to plan, I couldn’t recommend Jesse and Forged Endurance highly enough. I’ll always be grateful for the role he played in helping me become an Ironman.

“Jesse and I did a swim analysis as our first session, just one week after I joined. I’d been swimming for about a year, but I’d never had any real technique coaching and honestly, I didn’t realise how much I was leaving on the table until that session. Jesse’s coaching style is super informative and easy to understand. He filmed my swim, then broke it down on the spot with clear feedback, specific corrections, and drills I could immediately take into the water. The biggest “aha” for me was my catch and pull. I was only getting about 50% of what I should be, which explained why my speed felt capped. Since that session, I’ve been practising the changes and I noticed a difference straight away. What I also love is how Jesse runs my training program. He updates it weekly (not weeks in advance), based on what I actually got done, what I missed, and where I need to focus next. With a busy work and life schedule, that flexibility gives me real peace of mind. The program stays realistic and keeps pace with me. I’d highly recommend Jesse to anyone, whether you’re an aspiring professional or an amateur age-grouper who wants to genuinely improve.”

“I’ve been working with Jesse at Forged Endurance for the past three months as I prepare for Ironman Cairns in June, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made in this process.  Going into Ironman training, I knew I needed more than just a training plan. I wanted structure, accountability, and someone who understood how to balance big endurance goals with real life. Jesse has brought exactly that.  The coaching is tailored, practical, and consistent. Every session has a purpose, and the plan evolves when needed. When work, family, or fatigue come into play, Jesse helps adjust things without losing momentum toward the bigger goal. That flexibility has helped me stay consistent without feeling like I’m falling behind.  Three months in, I feel stronger, clearer on the process, and more confident in what’s ahead. I haven’t reached the Ironman start line yet, but for the first time the goal feels genuinely achievable.  If you’re considering endurance coaching and want someone invested in both your performance and the person behind the training, Jesse and Forged Endurance are doing it right. I’m looking forward to continuing the build toward June.“
